Sweden
Sweden is an elongated country and is slightly bigger than California having a land area of 410,335 sq. km. (World Factbook). Sweden is located in northern Europe between Finland and Norway. The geographic coordinates of Sweden are 62 00 N, 15 00 E (World Factbook). Sweden is mostly flat with some mountains in the west. In Sweden, 85% of their population lives in urban areas. Sweden’s capitol is Stockholm. Other major cities in Sweden are; Uppsala, Orebro. Gavle and Mora (Maps of World). Sweden has no border issues with its neighboring countries Finland and Norway.

Chad
Chad is a compact country and is more than 3 times the size of California (World Factbook). The land area is 1,259,200 sq. km. (World Factbook). Chad is located in central Africa, just south of Libya. Other surrounding countries include; Niger, Sudan, Cameroon, and the Central African Republic. The geographic coordinates of Chad are 15 00 N, 19 00 E (World Factbook). Chad is tropical in the south and desert in the north. In Chad, 28% of their population lives in urban areas. Chad’s capitol is N'Djamena. Other important cites include Moundou, Sagh, Kelo, and Pala. Chad has had some borders issues. Four years ago, a village in eastern Chad was attacked and burned to the ground when bands of Arab militias from Darfur attacked local tribes (Global Development).

Sweden’s GDP is $395.8 billion and their GDP per capita is 441,700 (World Factbook). Chad’s GDP is $21.34 billion and their GDP per capita is $2,000 (World Factbook). In Sweden, there are not many people in agriculture, just 1.1%. 28.2% are in industry and 70.7% are in services (World Factbook). Sweden’s export partners are mainly with Germany, Norway, UK, Denmark, Finland, and US (World Factbook). They mainly export machinery, motor vehicles, paper products, pulp and wood, and iron and steel products (World Factbook). Their income for exports is $177.6 billion (World Factbook). Sweden’s import partners are mainly Germany, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, UK, Russia, Finland, China, and France (World Factbook). Their imported products are machinery, petroleum and petroleum products, chemicals, motor vehicles, iron and steel, food stuffs, and clothing (World Factbook). They spend about $166.4 billion on imports. Sweden’s HDI is 0.904. Sweden’s economic development is at the age of mass consumption which means they are pretty developed at this point.

Chad
80% of Chad’s population is in the agriculture sector and 20% are in industry and services (World Factbook). Since Chad is less developed, their amount of people in agriculture shows it and how little are in industry and services. Chad’s exports partners are the US, China, and France (World Factbook). Their exports consist of oil, cotton, and cattle. And their income from exports is $4.951 billion. Chad’s import partners are Cameroon, France, China, Finland, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, and the US (World Factbook). They import machinery and transportation equipment and industrial goods (World Factbook). Chad’s HDI is 0.328. Chad’s economic stage of development is the traditional society which means they haven’t really started to develop yet.
