Chad
Chad is about half and half with being subsistence and commercial (Encyclopedia of the Nations). Most of Chad’s arable land is in the south as well (Country Studies).Chad also has pretty small farms and about 80% of Chad’s people work in agriculture (Encyclopedia of Nations). Almost all work is done by hand, if not by cattle to till the soil (Encyclopedia Britannica). Chad’s main crops include cotton, grains, oilseeds, tubers, and several leafy vegetables (Encyclopedia of the Nations). The livestock include camels, sheep, goats, donkeys, and cattle (Encyclopedia of the Nations). There are no agribusinesses in Chad.
